A very good article. It might be useful for many of the lawyers who are looking for a career change. I am also a lawyer but working Human Resource Professional and I want to add something for my all friends who are in legal profession, ‘if you are not satisfied with your practice never think you have ruined your career by choosing Law studies, really Law degree always pays off but you need to have the potential to utilize it.’

The article was “okay” until it got to point 4. Do not just apply, apply, apply. Do not waste a company’s time if you are not really and truly interested in the position. Companies are inundated with resumes in today’s economy so only apply to those positions for which you are really qualified. The author indicated that a job posting includes a company’s “wish list” in its job description. This might be true but you can be pretty certain that if you do not have most, if not all, of the qualifications they are seeking in their “wish list”, you will not receive a response. Companies have the luxury of being choosy now since they receive thousands of resumes for one job posting. Treat job hunting as a true job and you will get the results you are seeking. Good luck!
